WAIHI, Sept. 2
Robert Glasgow, a miner, was seriously injured this morning at the Waihi mine. He was engaged in spitting charge® of gelignite when an explosion followed. He was picked up about 90 feet away from where the explosion occurred, suffering from a terrible wound in the head and injuries to the. hack. GISBORNE. Sept 3. At tho inquest on the l«ov Edward Evans, who was shot on Sunday last by one of his companions, the jury returned a verdict that the occurrence was a pure accident. WELLINGTON.
