With reference to temporary grazing permits to small grazing run occupiers, which expire on September Ist. 1913. it was rouoked to renew the permits for a period of si\ months from September Ist. 1913, at fcanii; rentals as are paid at, present. It. was resolved to approve of unsold t>ections in Piriaka township being offered for cash by public auction at reduced upsetprices recommended by the ranger. An application from' Mrs E. E. Rces. for about |-aere near Raurimu township was considered.—lt was resolved tu grant, her a permit to occupy this area from year to year at a rent of £1 per annum, subject to usual conditions.

Mrs Jessie Strang the owner of the. Rangataua block, applied to exchange about 1± acres of her land for an equal area of •ection 1, block 8. Huangarua, Longbush settlement, held under lease-in-perpctuity by Mr A. McKenzie. for the purposes of access mid a belter tenting line.—Thin was approved subject to ranger's report being aatisfactorv.

An application from Messrs Ackett aud Manning for a license to mill timber on reserve to the north-west and south of Owhango tour-hip was received.—Commissioner to issue a milling license over this timber to Messrs Adsett and Manning on ■usual conditions, on his being satisfied that all accessible milling timber included in their pre -out license ha* been cut oui.
