FURTHER DISTURBANCES.
(Bi Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Peb Pbess Association.) LONDON, Aug. 31. Sporadio disturbances have occurred at Londonderry. The Cheshire Regiment are in readiness and the police are equipped with service revolvers. There has heen some firing by civilians. A man named O'Neil was seriously wounded. The police have kept the factions apart. Mr William O'Brien (the Independent Nationalist leader), at the All-for-Ireland demonstration at Skibbereen, urged a policy of national reconciliation and jieaee. The task of the Irish Parliament was all too desperate, and would I* impossible unless Protestant hostility was mitigated and Unionists in England were persuaded to stop deliberately fomenting civil war until tho general election.

Mr O'Brien, addressing the All-for-Ire-land League, wid the movement for national peace and conciliation would bo the mo9t priceless work for Ireland. If a small inter-party conference, presided over by a representative man. met ho would stake hia life on it that they would not separate until they had outlined a plan of settlement which would prove an everlasting blessing.
