HOCKEY.
Manawatu is to have first match for the Nordon Clip this year. Wairarapa have intimated their willingness to play on June 19 at Masterton and the local team should at once -get into active training. Mr C. H. Warden, sole selector of the Manawatu Hockey Association, will attend at Feilding on Saturday to watch local hockeyites at play, with a view of including in the rep. team those considered worthy of a place.
