The Nyanza also received the call for assistance, and steamed at full 6peed to her help. The Tainui has reached Corunna, and repairs are proceeding, Lloyd's report that her port bow is stove in. The Garth Castle is 150 miles from Plymouth, and has on board 203 of flic Tainui's passengers. All are well. CANTERBURY MUTTON IN THE DAMAGED HOLDS. CHRISTCHURCH. May 27. The local agents for thr> Shaw," Savili line state that, the No. 1 hold (which was reported by cable to be full of water) and i!ie No. 2 hold (reported to be tilling with water) contain (he frozen meat shipped at Lyttelton.
