SEAMAN LOST IN A GALE. (Pib Pbess Arpohation ) 'NELSON, Mav 27. The three-masted schooner Maroro, from Newcastle with coal, reached Nelson to-day after a stormy passage. The vessel left Newcastle on the 3rd inst. and -.encountered a succession of gales, not running into good weather until passing Cape Egmont. During a squall early on Sunday morning an ordinary seaman named Leslie Miller was lost overboard while shortening sail. A boat was lowered and the vessel remained in the vicinity for several hours, but nothing was seen of Miller, who belonged to Sydney.
