Frederick William Adams was sentenced to death, with a strong recommendation to mercy, for feloniously wounding Lilian Lambert, with intent to murder her. Adams shot his cousin. Mrs Lambert. The latter, whom Adams courted for years, recently married, and jealousy was the cause of the act.
