ALLEGED BREACH OF MOTOR REGULATIONS.
Mr J. W. Povnton, S.M., gave his decision at Foxton 011 Tuesday in connection with the charge by the police against F. S. Easton for an alleged breach of the motor reguhtions, by driving his motor car at night without lights The case was heard at the last local sitting of the Court, when the Magistrate reserved his decision 111 order to look into some points raised by Mr Cooper. In the decision given on luesday he dismisses the case 011 the grounds that there was no evidence to pro\e that the weight of the car did not exceed three tons, as prescribed by the Act. He states that he did not expect the cars to be weighed in such cases, but at the same time there should be some evidence given as to the weight.
