THE GEAR ESTATE. A SUCCESSFUL SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with Dalgoty and (Jo., Ltd., hold a very successful sale at Te flora yesterday, of the Goar estate, which had been purchased by a local syndicate. Mr Porritt wielded the hammer, and out" of 62 sections ho was successful in celling 59. The management of the sale was excellent, and the large attendance of buyers showed the interest manifested in the fixture. The clearance, wo aro informed, constitutes a record, the lots going at or above upset prices in every instance. Thcij> was specially keen competition for the smaller sections, which, brought up to £92 per acre.
