Tho matter formed the subject of an inquiry, wita the result that a lino was imposed, this lenient treatment being extended "on account of tho fact that tho offender Mas a teototaller." A matter that will form the subject of a, further-inquiry is a report by two civilians- that they observed a constable in uniform under the influence of liquor last week.

A tea that you will appreciate is the "Mikado" Blend, a tea that costs kit eighteen ponoe a pound, and .tastes like that worth 2u. It is a good strong flavoury tea with plenty of body, and extremely pleasing to the palate. For family use it is unequalled, for it is inexpensive and good.
