FOXTON'S WHARF.
(Pes Press association LEVIN,, July 4. Endeavours aro being made in the various surrounding counties to obtain a guarantee from various specified districts towards the cost of acquiring the Foxton wharves from the Government for the Foxtoii Harbour Board. The Levin Borough Council discussed tho matter.-last night on'a proposal to guarantee £25 por annum on account of necessary expenditure of £27,000, but resolved to defer voting until further information was available.
