SHEFFIELD CHOIR IN CHRISTCHURCH. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 3. _ The members of the Sheffield Choir were given a public reception by 'he Mayor and citizens this afternoon in His Majesty's Theatre,., which was crowded. Speeches of welcome were given by the Mayor and Mr 0. T. J. Alpere, president of tlio local reception committee, and responses were made by Drs. Harriss and Coward, both of whom spoke in the highest, possible terms' of appreciation of the. manner entertained in New Zealand. BAKERS AND PASTRY COOKS, MAIN ST.
