LIEDERTAFEL CONCERT.

Tho Palmerston North Liedertafel will give their next concert at the Opera House on July 11th, Tho concerts havo been very popular in tho past, and no effort has been spared to mako this ono as popular as its predecessors. Miss May Newman, who is to sing at tho concert, is spoken of highly of by Mr Baeyertz, editor of The Triad. Mr Baeyertz is not easily ploasod. so that the publio may expect something good from her. Her items will bo "Piano Piano," from Weber's opera, " Dor Freschutz," "Eleanore" (Mallinson), and "One Spring Morning" (Novin). Miss Nellie Simpson, Flautist, is also highly spoken of as a musician, and will give some of her best items. Tho box plan opens at Park's on Thursday, where new subscribing members may bo enrolled. Subscription 10s per annum for,three tickets each concert, 15s per annum for 5 tickets each concert.
