ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Mr. Kesson Guthrie, son of Mr ,D. H. Guthrie,- M.P., has been the victim of a very serious accident. Recording to the Feilding Star he had only just returned from a trip to Fiji, and was inspecting a,farm near-Taihape. He returned to the township and stabled his horse. 1 As he was leaving the stable, lie turned to pick off some substance tangled .in the horsed tail, when the horse lashed out and caught him in tho face, smasliing his jaw'and severely cutting and bruising his face and neck. Mr Guthrie was ; taken'to the Taihafje Hospital, where ho is receiving, every care and attention, but it is difficult to 6ay yet what the full extent'of his injuries are.
