On the civil side, of the Court the number of oases heard by tho S.M. was 218; 'cases hoard by. justices, nil; amount Micd for, £3616 lis lid; amount recovered, £1737 6s 7d; number of applications heard in Court or Chambers, 23; orders made (other than judgment summonses). 1; plaints entered, 300; distress warrant* issued, 27; judgment summonses issued. 53; order made-on judgment summonses, 14; warrants of committal issued, 2•, amount of civil fees paid in stamp?, £176 19s;. amount of licensing fees paid in stamps, £l4 '7s. Criminal returns show that th' 3 number of males before the" Court was 219, and females 21; i umber of offences, males 253, and females 26; criminal fees paid in stamps, £2O 13s; amount paid in criminal fines, £93 Bs.
