A NICK FRUIT CAKE. Half a pound of flour, fivo ounces of butter, a quarter of a pound of sugar, 011 c ounce of citron peel, two tablespoonfuls of currents, two tablcspoonfuls of sultanas, one level tcaspoonful of baking powdor, two eggs, a quarter of a tcaspoonful each of ground cinamon and ginger, a quarter of a cupful of milk, Boat the butter and sugar to a cream, then add the yolks of the eggs well beaten, sift in the flour and baking powder, add the fruit, shred tho peel and add it, then add the milk, and whites of eggs stiffly beaten, mix gently, pour into a buttorod and floured eako tin. Bako in a moderate oven for two, hours. Tin's Is an excellent cake to serve with "Dragon" brand tea.
