She was married at Nelson' and lived in Wellington for many years prior to going to Foxton with her husband, a few years ago. The bride who looked .charming in a trained robe of silk-stripecl .chiffon prettily trimmed with pearls and lace, wore a lovely veil lent by the bridecroom's mother, also the customary orange blossoms and carried a very handspmo floral horseshoe. The bride was given awav bv her father, and was attended •bv two bridesmaids, Misses Daisy Tallott and Nessie Buchanan, who wore dainty frocks of cream silk muslin and large green straw hats. They earned flora horseshoes and wore gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr 1. lallott .officiated as best man and Mr h. Buchanan as groomsman. The bride s mother was handsomely gowned in black silk ini feta relieved with jet and point lace, and a black and white satin hat. She carried a ■verv prettv bouquet of roses and fern.-. Mrs Buchanan; mother of the bridegroom, wore a becoming costume of black silk, with a black and white toque to match.
