DRUIDS' SOCIAL.

' It is quite evident that tlio Druids' socials have lost none of their attractiveness since last season, for, despite the unpleasant weather, there was a good muster at the social last night, > including a number from .Feilding. I he amusement provided proved very ■ enjoyable, The euchre tournament, , which took up the first part of tlio evening, resulted in jfro. W. Watkins ■ and Miss Woodman winning the principal prizes, while Mr Morcombe and Mrs kitchen were successful in winning the booby prizes. The dance whicli followed also proved very enjoyable, first-class music being supplied by Mr P. 0. Hanley, and the duties of M's.C. were carried out by Bros, Pycroft, Lvall and Harriman. During the evening songs were given by Misses Mumford and Pycroft. Miss Mnmfonl also played an extra. It was anounced that the next social would be held on June 14th.
