DRUNKENNESS,
Two first offending inebriates were fined ss, in default 24 hours' imprisonment.
BREACH OF BY-LAWS,
Bambury Bros. (Mr Moore) were charged on the information of tho Kairanga County Council (Mr Innes) with leaving timber on the side of the road in contravention of the by-laws of the county. After hearing the parties tho defendants were fined and costs. OBJECTIONS TO RATING.
Charles Hopping (Mr Guy) lodged an objection to the classification of his. land in tho Oroua Drainage Board District. Messrs G. Kendall and E. J. Armstrong (engineer and secretary) appeared for the Board,'and after the parties had conferred it was arranged to alter part of the land froni firtt to eccoud-clas? rating, . . W. Amon also lodged an objection, and his rating was reduced from second to third-class rating. MAINTENANCE.
A case of maintenance of an illegiti ; mate child, both parties having Maori blood, occupied the Court for a.-con-siderable time, and w?£ etiil sitting vben wo wont to press. Mr T. M.
