Tho Financial News publishes an interview with Sir Joseph Ward,, in which he insisted.on the f present prosperity of New Zealand, after a set back, following on the American financial crisis. The Dominion's stability, he claims,, is not due to abnormal causes, but to increased trade. Sir Joseph Ward explained and justified the Public Debt Sinking Fund' Act of last session, which provides for the wiping- out of the National debt.
