Tho dmand was fairly brisk for voting sheep, but old ewes wero hard to quit, Quotations; Cull lambs to 3s 2d, cull ewes 5s lOd to 5s 2d, small lambs to 5s 9d, mixed ago ewes to 6s Id, small 2-th ewes 8s 2d to 8s lid, 2-th ewes to 12s, 4 and 5-vr ewes lis to lis 2d, 2-th wethers 10s 10d, lis, lis 9d, 12s, to 2s 2d. aged Romney rams lgn, 2-th Romncy rams 2 to 3J-gns, 4 and 6-th Romney rams to 3gns. In consequence of tb.s continu.il dry weather tho was slack with 'ho exception of young cheep. Quotations: - Sleep: 2-tooth wcth.irs l'.s 4(1, fat wethers 14s, small 2-tooth eves 8s 3d, 2-tooth ewes 13. Cattle: Wcaner steers 355. steers £5 lis. At Feilding,' on Friday, wo hud a heavy yarding of sheep and a good entry of entile. All cl.is.ses of stock were dull of sale, but we managed" lo juil pnetically the whole of tho jarding at prices in'favour of the buyers. We quote :- Sheep: Cull lambs 3s 3d to 4s Id, sto'-e lambs ns 2d to 7s, ewe lambs 8s sd, fat lambs'ls 6d, aged ewes 2s 3d to 4s 6d, s.m. ewes ss, 7s 3d, 7s 7d, to 8s 6d; 2-tooth ewes (small) 7s 6d. others 10« 2-tooth .wethers 10s 3d.
