Investing in "consultations," as thoy arc called, doea not invariably prove remunerative. An Invcrcargill syndicate recently invested £IOO in that way, the return being £95. Tho latter sum was reinvested, the return being £35. That amount, has again been speculated with, but with what result is not yet known.
