(From Our Own Correspondent.) February 25. Mr and Mrs R, W. Taylor, of Buckley, aro expected home about Tuesday nextMr and Mrs Squires, of Blenheim, are at present on a visit to Mr and - Mrs E. W. Sutton, of Stout street. Mr D. Gardiner has leased his farm on tli« County road to Mr R. L. Tippler. Shannon residents will be son'y to hear that wo are losing "Dave." He is at present chairman of the School Committee, and is also a very active member of the Druids. His departure will prove a great loss to the community, who will join us in wishing him good luck in his new sphere. Mr and Mrs F. Ross intend to return to England in April. It is probable that Mr Blythe, of Levin, will take over his farm at Buckley. Owing to want of time for rehearsals the Nobraska Minstrels will not appear at the Horticultural Show. The committee, however, have engaged the service's of a professor of hypnotism, who will display his powers on both evenings.
