The Chamber, by 447 to 56, adopted a Radical resolution inviting the Government, in co-operation with friends anil allies, to secure a discussion of tha limitation : of armaments at the next Hague Conference; Sir- Edward Grey, Foreign Secretary, .informed Mr I). V. Pirie, member for, Aberdeen North, that the Government had officially welcomed the resolution from the- American Congress' concerning the a Peace Commission, and also promised the friendliest consideration to any definite scheme.
