STRATFORD SHOW.
The Stratford A. and P. Association have' scheduled a butter-fat competition open to all cows irrespective of pedigree, the sire and pedigree only tto be stated where known. The prizes to be given are, first £10 10s, second, £5 ss, third, £2 2s, fourth, £1 Iβ. This competition should bring numerous entries. From the nature of the conditions, the Association, anticipating large entries, are making provision for accommodating the cows in a number of well-grassed paddocks. Numerous classes for sheep appear in the above schedule covering English Leicesters, Border Leicesters, Lincolns, Southdowns, Crossbred Longwool, Lincoln Romney Cross, Hampshires, Romney Marshes, Shropshires, freezers, fat sheep, and other classes. Horse jumping will be well catered for, events being put on for the maiden hunters, hunters, hunters' steeplechase, and pony jumping. The prizes in all events scheduled are of a substantial nature.
