SELF-DENIAL FUND.

At the Empire Hall to-night the Palmerston North Brass Band, assisted by several local entertainers, will give a concert in aid of the Salvation Army's self-denial fund. The band, which has made excellent improvement under Conductor Conway, is down for several pieces of concerted music, whilst cornet and trombone 6olos will be played by Messrs Pike and Elliott. On the whole a very enjoyable entertainment may be safely anticipated.
