GRAND CANTATA.
CUBA STREET CHURCH TO-NIGHT.
A final reminder is given of the_ excellent musical treat to be given in_ the Cuba street Methodist Church to-night, commencing at 8 o'clock. The Cuba street choir, assisted by friends, who will mako a chorus of over forty voices, will render the cantata, "David, the Shepherd Boy." The work abounds in many pretty choruses and there are some extremely fine solos and duets. Mrs P. Larcomb, who is one of Palmerston's leading vocalists, Mrs H. Mowlcm, so well-known as a contralto, Mr J. Rogers, the equally popular tenor, and Mr W. Hughes, ono of our best basses, are the leading soloists, while other leading singers will assist. Besides the cantata a short musical programmo will be rendered, and the evening's entertainment should bo well worth listening to.
