Thomson,- , 5.M.,-with having played "two-up" on the, occasion of the- Levin, racee. Evidence was given by Detective Caeeelk, Constable- Cumming and two civilians that all five accused played, but both the Barretts swore that neither of them played. The Magistrate disbelieved them, and fined each accused £5 and costs 12s.

Mansel Knocks, fined last week on a police information for having assaulted a. player in the match at Otaki at which Knocks was spectator, has been warned off all grounds under the jurisdiction of the Horowhenua Rugby Union.
