The Christehurch Prohibition League has appointed six delegates, including Meesrs Taylor and Ell, M's.P., to attend the No-license Convention to be held in Wellington on June 22. It is understood the question of a compromise of the licensing, law will be re-oponed, but the local prohibition leaders are reticent. CHRIgTC k UR CH, May 2 8. In the Solgran case counsel for plaintiffs stated he was in communication with Tasmania with the object of obtaining evidence, and the case was adjourned sine die.
