Alderman Kelly, a Nationalist, declares that members of tho House of Commons have only to say to the Liberals: "Unless the terms of the oath be altered wo will kick you out." A fire has broken out in one of the holds of tho steamer Prinz Friedrich Wilhelm, and hundreds of bales of cotton havo been destroyed. It is now learned that Mr Boyd Alexander lost his life through quitting Abeshr for Darfur, notwithstanding French official warnings. His body was recovered and carried to _ Maifoni, a British post near Lake Chad. New York advices state that tho Nicaraguan insurgents were completely defoated at Blueficlds. ST PETERSBURG, May 26.
