(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright./ (Per Press Association.) PERTH, May 24. Dr. Bowkett, of the Otway, in evidence, stated ho had never seen a case of smallpox before the case of the boy on the ship. He explained his reasons for regarding the case as one of Sun fever. The hearing of the charge of negle'ct against the doctor was adjourned. Received May 25, 10.5 a.m. PERTH, May 25. Dr. Bowkett was committed for trial.
