From the following will be selected the team to represent the Palmerston Guards in the annual shoot for ihe Wanganui Battalion Shield at Wanganui on Juno 3: — Capt. McMurray, Lieut." Willoughby, Sergt. Dalziell, Corp. Carruthcrs, Corp. Green, Pvts. O'Neil, Smith, Gilshnan, Low, Gibson, Rush, Stratford, Burgess, and Shoebridge. The following team will represent the Guards in the return match with the Pohangina and Bunnythorpe Rifle Clubs combined next Saturday at Ashhurst, the team leaving by the 11.45 train:: Lieut. Willoughby, Sergt. Dalziell, Corps. Carruthcrs and Green, Pvts. 0 Noil, Smith, Gilshnan, Low, Gibson, Rush, Burgess, and Shoebridge. Firing will commence after the arrival of the midday train from Palmerston.
