HAYWAIifD'S PICTURES.
Last night was the filial occasion on ■which the Galley Slave and its pictorial accompaniments were on view at ;the Zealandia Hall, the series retiring in favour of a fresh lot of views tonight. Several stars will be shown, but the feature of the series will be the "Death Disc," a dramatisation of an historical episode' during the Oliver Cromwell regime. The comics and scenic pictures will be fully up to the Hayward standard.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. Despite the wintry weather last night there was quite a. satisfactory attendance at the Opera House to witness the Thompson-Payne pictures. The series were, as usual, loudly applauded, and it was quite evident the pictures found full appreciation. A new lot will be shown on Friday night, when the management resumes after the "Peter Pan" season.
