SALE OF THOBOUGHBBEDS.

THURSDAY MORNING. To-morrow morning at 9.30 a.m. the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. will hold their usual annual sale of the Manawatu Stud Co.'s yearlings. On this occasion there will be offered a .select quartette, each by the imported English horse Sir Laddo, whose progeny have now shown that they are ablo to* gallop with the best of them. Yearlings and older horses will also bo offered on account' of Mr D. Buick, M.P., including the hunter and hurdler. Neth- . erby, by Son-of-a-Gun. Messrs P. W. Scally and T. Nolan will also offer several well-bred horses, whilst the filly Moree, by Merriwee —Barbelle, in full training, will likewise come under the hammer. All the stock is in excellent condition to face the winter months. Catalogues are now obtainable from the auctioneers, giving full details of t.ha various lots on offer.
