HOCKEY.
At last night's meeting of the Phoenix, Hockey Club, held at the Club Hotel, the following officers were elected-.—Patron, Mr H. B. Tucker (re-elected); president, Mr T. Childs (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs J Bell, M. Millar, E. Trevor, and W. Bunting and Mrs Adams; secretary and treasurer, Mr Geoff. Watchorn; general committee, secretary and Messrs N. Stubbs, H. McGregor, B. Shortt, and R. McMurray; selection committee (pro tern) Messrs G. \Vatchorn, A. Ekstedt, and H. McGregor; delegates to the Association, Messrs R. McMurray and B. Shorty Three new members were elected. The election of captain and vice-captain was held over till the first match. The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory result.
