(Pes Pbess association.) LONDON, April 7. Sir Robert Perks, M.P., and member of the 'firm of C. H. Walker and Co., contractors, is the chief promoter of a company to provide three dry docks at Port Davis, Quebec, St. Jo'hrs and New Brunswick, each 900 feet long, 100 i'ect wide, and 35 feet deep Also for the erection of a first-class steel shipbuilding plant at St. Johns. Messrs Harland and Wolff and the Canadian steamship companies are cooperating, being satisfied with the increased subsidy. The works will be commenced at the end of the year.
