NEW RAILWAY TIME-TABLE.
THE ALTERATIONS. TO TAKE EFFECT ON T APRIL 1. The following alterations in the railway time-table come into force on April 1: — WELLINGTON (THORNDON)-PAL-MERSTON NORTH. In addition to the usual stops of the up and down Wellington-Auckland express trains, these trails wil stop at Mangaweka and Te Awamutu to take up or set down passengers. The present 6.40 a.m PaekakarikiWellington train will 'eave Ptekakariki 6.50 a.m., and be accelerated—Plimmerston depart 7.20, Porirua 7.36, Johnsonville 8.18, Wellingtor arrive as at present. ' , The present 1.5 p.m. Palmerston North-Wellington train will leave Palmerston 12.15 p.m., Longburn 1.5, Shannon 2.0, Levin 2.40, Otaki 3.25, Wellington arrive as at present. This train will, in addition to present stops, stop at Makerua to take up or set down passengers. . . The present 7.30 a.m. Napier-Thorn-don mail train will leave Napier at 8.50 a.m., Palmerston North depart 2.43 p.m., Wellington arrive 6.22 p.m. This tram will, in addition to present stops, stop at Porirua daily, and at Plimmerton on ' Saturdays, but will not stop at Koputaroa. and Te Horo on any day. The present down New PJymciuhThorndon mail train will stop at Koputaroa, Te Horo, Plimmeiton, and Paremata daily, in addition to present stops. The present 5.35 p.m. PlimmertonWellington train on Saturdays will not run. Passengers can leturn by the down Napier mail train leaving Plimmerton 5.26 p.m. on Saturdays. The present 7.38 a.m. Thorndon-Pal-merston train will leave Thorndon 9.30 a.m., Palmerston arrive 15.10 p.m. This train, in addition to present stops, will stop at Makerua to take up or set down passengers. The present 9.10 a.m. Thorndon-New Plymouth.mail train will leave Thorndon 7.45 a.m., arrive Palmerston 11.32, depart 11.42, Wanganui arrive 2.56 p.m., New Plymouth arrive 7.55 p.m. The present 10 50 a.m. Thorndon-Na-pier mail train will leave Thorndon at 9.10 a.m., Palmerston arrive 12.58 p.m., depart 1.23, Napier arrive 7.18 p.m. The up mail trains will make the same stops as at present. The present 6.20 p.m. Wellington-Pae-kakariki train (not Saturdays) (Welling-ton-Johnsonville Saturdays) will leave Wellington 6.25 p.m. The present 11.0 p.m. Wellington-Pae-kakariki (Saturdays) will leave Wellington 11.15 p.m. PALMERSTON NORTH-NAPIER. The present 12.0 noon train Palmerston North to Woodville will leave Palmerston 11.48 a.m. A goods train, with car attached, wiL leave Woodville for Palmerston at 11.45 a.m., connecting at Woodville with morning trains from Cross Creek and Waipukurau The present 6.50 a.m. Napier-Wood-ville train will leave Waipawa 9.30 a.m., Waipukurau 0.55, Dannevirke 12.57, Woodvi'Je arrive 1.45 p.m., connecting with train leaving Woodville for Palmerston North at 2.30 p.m. (instead of 1.50 p.m. as at present). The present 2.30 p.m. Waipukurau-Pal-merston train will leave Makotuku 4.30 p.m.; other stations as at present.
The present 5.10 p.m. Napier-Waipuku-rau will leave-Waipawa 8.13 p.m., Waipukurau arrive 8.28 p.m. The present 7.0 a.m. Palmerston-Na-pier train will leave Woodville 8.5 a.m. (five minutes earlier than at present), Dannevirke 9.10, and after leaving Waipukurau will leave other stations as at
present. The present 6.0 a.m. Palmerston-Wai pukurau train will leave Ormondville 11.25 a.m., Waipukurau 1.10 p.m. —ten minutes later than at present.
The present 2.35 p.m. Woodville-Na-pier train wili leave Woodville 3.0 a.m., Napier arrive 10.8 p.m. The present 6.15 p.m. Napier-Haet-ings train will leave Napier 6.10 p.m.
The present 10.5 p.m. Napier-Hastings rain will leave Naaier at 10.15 a.m.
