SHOOTING.
The Palmerston North Rifles will fire the final competition for the Noncoms.' Shield to-morrow; and Saturday next, the ranges being 200, 500, 600 and. 700 yards, 7 shots with one compulsory sighter. It was decided to complete the shoot this week on account of the Easter holidays next week and the following week. ' The result of this shoot will be . interesting, as on it depends the fate "of the shield for the next three years.
