NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
BUTTER AND CHEESE ENTRIES,
Entries received in the butter and cheeso classes, at the forthcoming National Dairy Show were made up last night, and constitute a record. They total close upon 300, as compared with 201 last year. Nearly every district in the Dominion is represented, and the competition this year in every respect will present the aspects of a championship. The names of factories represented are as follows: —
Butter Classes. —Pihame, Taieri and Peninsula Milk Supply Co., Cambridge, Whenuakura, Awahuri, Mauriceville, Dannevirke, Apiti, Huiakama, Wanganui, Rangitikei, Lepperton, Farmers, Rongotea, Kairanga, Makino, Levin, Norsewood, Tamaki, Otaki, Oruru, West Clive Thames Valley, Ballance, Stratford, Midhurst, Bunnythorpe, Rangiwahia Ruahine. Ballance (Monarch), Cheltenham, Ballance D.C. (Ballance), Ballance D.C.. (Pahiatua), Taihape, Kai Ora, Mells, Ballance Co.-op (Konini), Bell Block, Tarata, Glen Oroua, Oakura, Mangorei, Okato, Omata, Tai Tapu, Te Puke, Golden Bay, Tauranga, Opotiki Heretaunga. Cheese Classes. —Pihama Dairy Co., Longbush, Raumati, Whakaronga, Dannovirke, Rangitikei, Lowgarth, White Cliffs, Dalefield, N.Z. Farmers' Dairy Union, Makino Dairy Factory, Norsewood Dairy Co., Norsewood. Waikouaiti, Omimi Dairy Factory, Thames Valley Co.-op. Dairy Co., Rexdale Dairy Co., Taratahi Dairy Factory, Lowgarth Dairy Co., Cheltenham, Taihape, Ngaire, Kakaramea. Rongokokaka Cheeso Factory, Ballance Dairy Co., Cardiff, Featherston, Aonui, Mangamairo, Greytown, Westmere, Belvedere, and Kaponga. Eleven entries have been received in the judging competition for factory managers.
