Substantial prices for first-class hunters are readily forthcoming in England. Lato in December there was a. hunter sale in Leicester, the property of Viscount Castloreagh, M.P., eight out of 10 of which were sold at an average of £332. The following wore the principal prices:—Cremorne, 300 guineas; Cromartie, 350 guineas; Crookstick, 350 guineas ; Cromlech. 280 guineas; Charles Edward, 300 guineas; Cecily, 320 guineas; Cavendish, 360 guineas; Cornflower, 270 guineas.
