SPORTING.

At a meeting of the Metropolitan Committee o£ tho H.B. Jockey Club held in Napier on Friday last, Mr J. P. Innes, of Palmcreton North, on behalt ot a client, complained that certain dividends wove refused payment on presentation ot tickets at the Woodville autumn meeting. It was decided to ask tho Woodville Club for particulars. Payment is being asked for on three tickets issued on Skye, a winner on tho first day, and not presented for payment till the second day of the meeting. On behalf of the Woodville Club it is alleged that the tickets issued were rung on. another horse, though it is admitted the holder is in. possession of three Skyo tickets.
