Principal Morris, of the Heights College, Providence, expelled Philander Knox, son of the Secretary of State, for refusing to say whether he was married. He had eloped with Mary Boler, a draper's assistant. The couple now admit that they are married, and are returning to Washington to ask Mr Knox's blessing. •
