On page 2 will be found an advt. from Mr W. L. Richards, ironworker, of Rangitikei etreet, Palrnerston North. Mr Richards having received his training as an ironworker in England, has a thorough knowledge of his business, and the ornamental work turned out by him is of an artistic nature. The testimonials received by Mr Richards speak for themselves, and are worthy of perusal. Mr Richards is, also, a registered farrier, and those who entrust their shoeing to him are given every satisfaction. CLEARING SALE OF OCCIDENTAL HOTEL FURNITURE. Harry Palmer announces that the above sale will now take place in tho Lyceum Theatre on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next, tTie Mth, 15th. and 16th March. At present a large staff of workmen are engaged renovating and putting - everything in first-class repair, so that when the goods will bo offered to the public they will be almost equal to new. The goods may be inspected by intending purchasers all day on Friday and Saturday, and they will bo shown round by the foreman in charge. Catalogues containing full particulars of the furniture will be published as an inset in the "Standard" on Thursday night. Everything offered will be absolufely without reserve. IMPORTANT SALE OF DAIRY COWS Mounsoy and Co. have been favoured with instructions from Mr St. Clair Jounncaux, who is giving up dairying, to sell his magnificent herd of 80 firstclass dairy cows and heifers in milk and to calve July, August and September. Other entries include 2 good young bulls, 100 sound breeding ewes, 30 pigs, farm sundries, etc. The salo takes place on Monday next, March 14, commencing at 12 noon. To buyers of cows this sale should be attended. Mounsey and Co. advertise a salp of dairy cows to bo held on the farm. Gillespie's Lino, Kairanga, near Boundary road West, on behalf of Mr Jno. Russell, who is giving up dairying. The cows are a very choice picked lot, and farmers will do well to see them, as thoy are well worthy of inspection, and should command a very ready sale on Tuesday, 15th inst., at noon.
