SALE OF SECTIONS

With this issue Mounsey and Co. advertise the sale of 31 sections at tho Manawatu Heads, Foxton. The everincreasing demands for these beach sections prove that this resort is growing in popularity every year, and the decision of the Harbouvßoard in throwing them open to public competition is a very good one. as it will give the residents of the inland towns in the Manawatu an opportunity of securing an excellent site to build upon, where they can enjoy all the privileges of the comforts of tho watering places in the Old World. The leases arc for jhe term of 33 years, with a revaluation on the rental every 11 years, and the sale takes place,, at the mart on Thursday, March 10th,'at 12 noon. Keen competition is expected, as (here arc numerous inquiries.

AUCTION SALES. Harry Palmer draws attention to his weekly mart sale to-morrow, commencing at 12 o'clock sharp. Special entries in the pig sale are four purebred Devon boars, on account of Mr R. Bannister. A rather novel entry is one in the, shape of seven goats, live in milk. In fruit there is another very largo lot, notwithstanding that tho season is getting finished, and people who have not yet got their jam fruit and tomatoes will to very unwise if they let this sale slip. The firm also offer a large quantity of

furniture and sundries, including three guns.

The Manawatu Auctioneering Co. have in our advertising columns a catalogue of their Saturday's mart sale. Thero is an exceptionally heavy entry, comprising fully 400 cases of peaches, plums, peass, applet nectarines, greengages, tomatoes, etc. Owing to the early season the plums will soon be finished. There will also bo the usual offering of poultry, produce, set gig harness, etc. • also on account of Mrs Fitzwilliams, all her

furniture removed to the room for convenience of sale and without reserve, comprising bed box ottoman, couch, chairs, single and double bedsteads, washstand, child's cot, wheelbarrow, wardrobe, pictures, large bath, and a host of household effects, all without reserve.

Mounsey and Co. have received into their rooms to bo sold by auction to-

morrow the contents of throe dwellings, to be sold absolutely without reserve. The sale commences at 11.30 a.m. sharp on the pigs, poultry, produce, and fruit, the furniture to be sold at 1 p.m.. It only needs a visit to the auctioneer's rooms to show they have a big day before them to-morrow to sell the gigantic stock of second-hand furniture. Ib will be found that, everything is clean, and amongst the large collection will bo found 6omo very useful line's. ; Householders and furnishers should attend tho auctioneer's room to-morrow.
