Provisionally to calling tenders for the new service between Australia and Canada, the Postmaster has extended the existing contract for another year from July 31st next. Tenders for the proposed new service will bo along the present route for three- or five years, the contractor to be left to specify any other route, and declaring what the extra or reduced eubsidy would be.
