Flat Races.—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b, and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b. Horses handicapped at Bst 101b or over to carry half the above penalties. The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101b in the hurdle race, and of any additional race a further penalty of 71b, or if the handicapper deems fit he may increase the penalties. NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, AND ACCEPTANCES. Nominations for all events (except Trial Hack Race, first day, and Maiden Hack Scurry, second day), close with the Secretary at Foxton, on THURSDAY, January 6th, 1910, at 9 p.m. Weights will be declared on or about January 14th. Acceptances for first day and entriea for Trial Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Scurry (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 18th, at 9 p.m. p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on SATURDAY, January 22nd, at about 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9.30 o'clock. Entries by telegraph must be confirmed at the earliest opportunity, and name of trainer given, also colours of rider. No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. The stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit. ANGUS KEITH, Secretary.
