ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

(Per Press Association.) WHANGAREI, Jan. 11. Joseph Jones, aged 40, married, belonging to the Coromandcl district, who on a visit to Whangarei, was missed last night. As ho was subject to paralysis arid had left a note stating he was very eorry but his brain was on fire anxiety was felt and a search party instituted without result. Jones was found this morning, however, in Mr Hoey's paddock, near the towrf. with 'his 'throat cut with a razor. Though the wound was not dangerous, he was •taken to the hospital. His recovery is .anticipated.
