STAR ALMANAC, 1910

The 27th edition of the Star' Almanac and the West Coast Directory, published at the Star office, liawcra, is to hand, and is as complete in its information as its predecessors. This Almanac is very popular on this coast and contains a lot of very useful information regarding the towns in the Taranaki, Wanganui and Manawatu districts. Special attention has been given to the farmers' pages, which contain some very useful information relating to farm work of every description. The Statutes of New Zealand are fully published, a- list of the members of the New Zealand Legislature and the official list of the officers of the various departments may also bo found in the Directory. Dominion statistics of every kind, general trade returns, exports and imports, valuations, postal, railway and other information help to make up a very useful book, which should find a place in every householders' home. The book is well got up and well printed, and reflects great credit on the publisher, Mr W. A. Parkinson, of the Hawera Star office. ~
