ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Pee Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 29. At the inquest concerning the death of Robert Henry Parker, who was knocked down by a tramcar on the 18th inst., and who died in the hospital last Friday, a verdict was returned that it was due to an accident, no blame being attachable to the motorman. _ OAMARU, Dec. 29. As the up train frorii Palmerston was arriving at Maheno the whistle startled a team of horses attached to a dray. The driver, Timlick, slipped, and the wheels passed .over both legs. It is feared both are broken.
