CINEMATOGRAPH REVELATIONS.

The cinematograph and bioscope are making the way of tho transgressor truly hard. Quite recently, at one of the London variety theatres, a man watching a bioscope representation of a. big race saw plainly amongst tho cheering crowd one of his employees, who , had absented himself from the office for a couple of days on the score of illness. Tho deceiver was dismissed, and is now living at the expense of the nation, for it was discovered that he had been racing at his employer's expense. Another bioscope display at Edinburgh blighted the hopes of a young widow, who had charmed a wealthy, if rather ancient millowner. Ho was making a business visit to modern Athens, and was spending the night at a music hall. One of the bioscope pictures depicted the departure of a Continental boat express from London, .and there, among tho crowd, accompanied by a fine looking , young man, was tho widow. The two entered a compartment together, baggago was put in aftor them, and the train steamed out of eight. No satisfactory explanation being forthcoming, the millowner broke off tho matrimonial negotiations.

At a Paris Hall lately, pictures of the Rhoims aviation meeting were- being shown on the screen, when a woman in the audience gave a. piercing scream and fell on the floor in a state of wild hyeteria. Her husband was also seen to be suffering great emotion, and the two were taken out. It was then found that in one of the pictures the woman herself had appeared sitting at a table in a cafe, accompanied by a man. The husband is a. commercial traveller, and during aviation week he had been away from homo on business. His wife was supposed to have been in thci country with her mother at this time, but the picture showed that eho had renewed acquaintance with a former lover whom eho had given up on her marriage. When tho couple reached home, the husband gave vent to his indiernation and jealousy by firing at hie wife with a revolver.
